MATTHEW KING - COMPOSER

For String Quartet, piano and electronics, first performed by the composer with the Bergersen Quartet, St. Bartholomew the Great, 2012. The piece was specially written to make use of the resonance of this ancient spiritual space in the heart of the City of London. The music makes use of various textures reminiscent of plainchant and the ringing of bells.
